  • It is a pretty situation when a few people can try to force an elected official of a town out of office before their term is up. Over something that would be good for the community. It just amazes me some people can so petty and not see the real facts, when is this petty stuff going to stop. The people should stand behind the town board members and if they are not happy with them elect someone else when the proper time.

  • For a person who has lived in the Cohocton area for basically all of their life, save one year, I look at what this has all caused and I feel ashamed. I feel as if we are not being true to ourselves, every time something in the country doesnt go our way are we supposed to call for corruption at every turn? I have looked at all the websites that I can stand to look at and so far all I see from the non-supporters of the turbines is just that they are ganging up, with people who arent from this town, and attacking anyone they feel they can. Why perhaps do you think that we can't post on their sites? They dont want to hear any other opinions, they just believe their own. Well, because this is America, I can relate and respect them for having their own opinions but, I would still expect the same right from them. And really, what happened to people thinking about the town of Cohocton, not their own personal gains? From what I have seen this went from something that would greatly aid this town to a personal grudge match. In parting I just have one thing to say, CWW does have one thing right, we are all educated people who do have something in common, we all live in this town and I had thought that we all loved it but I now see that some just want what is best for themselves, not for the town.

  • YES! Wind continues to publish comments sent to them. We would appreciate it however, if all comments were signed. Yes! is accused constantly by CWW for moderating and choosing the comments we publish. This accusation would be eliminated by a signature. Thank You for understanding.
